Featured Projects
The following are examples of projects completed by our EHS consultants:
- Air Permitting and Compliance Assurance, Missouri — Provided NESHAP assistance, developed a Title V application, and set up initial recordkeeping and compliance assurance programs for a new aerospace facility. This allowed the client to focus on their core business without creating a large internal EHS department.
- Multi-Media EHS Reporting, Missouri — Provided compliance assistance; completed regulatory reports for air emissions, toxic release inventory, water, and waste; and documented compliance assurance options for a batch chemical (pigment) facility during a personnel transition.
- Environmental Management Information System (EMIS), various locations — Avchem provided state of the art recordkeeping and reporting databases and Information Technology tools as part of their chemical management system, allowing the client to simplify their reporting burden and eliminate obsolete databases.
- Water Permitting, Illinois — A permit application was developed to allow cottage cheese whey to be land applied as a fertilizer. The permit was granted by the state agency, providing the client additional flexibility when other reuse/recycle options were not available.
- Process Safety Management (PSM), various locations — Developed OSHA PSM program elements and performed audits and process hazard analyses for chemical manufacturing operations, as well as food processors using anhydrous ammonia refrigeration.
- Environmental Auditing and Due Diligence, various locations — Performed Phase I environmental site assessments and associated compliance audits to support mergers and acquisitions (M&A).
